Raised in Southern Africa, Tom spent the majority of his childhood in the oceans or on the mountains of Cape Town, and its from this connection with nature that he draws his biggest inspirations. Picking up a camera from where his grandfather left off, Tom shoots exclusively on film, finding beauty in the inimitable depth and textures of film photography as well as the slow and deliberate nature of the process.
